Cyndy Irvine - Glenn Coenen

Nursing is my profession and history is my passion. I’ve been a registered nurse for over 25 years but am rediscovering my first love, historical reading, research and writing.

I have a BA in History from Texas Tech University and a BS in Nursing from the University of Texas-Austin.

Working as an RN in Health & Wellness, I have developed educational materials and press releases on numerous health-related topics. I’ve been published in American Journal of Nursing, Nursing 2004, Wisconsin Trails magazine and am a contributing writer to our community newspaper.

I write from my century-old farm house in rural Wisconsin and am currently researching Mary Todd Lincoln and her travels in the Lake Superior region.
